On the Radio
Last week, I had the opportunity to be a guest on The Hustle Hour radio show with my friends Mike and Diane.
I have been inspired by my friend Mike Tepedino, entrepreneur (restaurant owner, media business owner, radio host, all around bad ass) since high school and was so excited to have the chance to appear as a guest on his show with his wife Diane, The Hustle Hour.
You Won't Be PERFECT Right Away
It was so much fun to have a conversation with positive business owners who can attest to the fact that you have to fail in order to succeed.
They know that in order to get what you want, you have to fail sometimes. It will be a humbling experience. It will be difficult and take a lot of hard work and grit. But they also know that it is absolutely worth it. It was so much fun to hang out with them and I loved sharing my love of learning other languages with them!
How I Have Fun at Work
In case you missed it, I talked about how I figure out how people learn best and then teach them in an in immersive approach.
I spoke about how I switch things up and use my student's personal interests to personalize each lesson. Some of my students are into soccer and some are into Poland's Next Top Model. I modify each lesson to be fun and interesting - I don't like to be bored!
I also spoke about how I think in so many languages and how embarrassing myself got me better and more fluent.
It was such a motivating and fun hour that flew by. I'm constantly inspired by this duo and am looking forward to everything they will achieve in 2018!
Thank you so much for having me!
